Phase 1
Organisational Review

Why it’s Important

An organisational review is necessary to establish a baseline and to uncover more systemic issues which we may need exploring further down the track.

Our approach is we use this phase to identify what the critical finance and operational drivers are, and whether you are measuring them correctly. Our approach is we look at the entire company to determine the next steps, and to prioritise. This phase is a snapshot of your people and culture, your systems, your finances, and your operations. It gives us clear feedback on where the organisation is on its journey.

What You Can Expect

We obtain financial information (such as assets / liquidity / cashflow), which gives us the data we need to assess risk as well as financial performance. Our approach is we talk with personnel; we obtain details of organisation structure and delegation of authority. We discuss workforce capacity and staff productivity. We also review all systems and processes.

The Benefit to You

This phase establishes a road map for us, by identifying the main issues and where the priority focus areas are; for us to drill down into for the next steps

Phase 2
Clarity

Why it’s Important

We need this phase to really understand your numbers. If we don’t have clarity on what the data is telling us, the modelling in the next phase could be incorrect. Our approach is we use the information in this phase to create a baseline of the organisation on each key performance indicator for which decisions are going to be made. We also use this information in the next phase to model scenarios.

What You Can Expect

We drill down, collect data, discuss with the organisation, and clarify the organisation’s key drivers. Part of our approach is we find out exactly what the data is telling us in its current stage, and what has been happening in the past.

The Benefit to You

We help you understand why your organisation is performing the way it is, and the measurement of the key drivers will identify how we can improve performance in the future.

Phase 3
Scenario Modelling and Analysis

Why it’s Important

We want to paint a picture for your leadership team, of the impact on the business if a few things are changed and different levers are pulled. Using various assumptions, our approach is we can model what the organisation could look like in the future. This data then facilitates discussion on what actions are required to make this happen.

What You Can Expect

We use the key performance drivers and build assumptions around what can be improved. We discuss timing, the impact on the organisation and develop financial models showing what the organisation could look like if certain things were changed / improved according to the assumptions.

The Benefit to You
